I started my musical journey at the age of 5 playing the piano which I played until I was 12. While I didn't enjoy it at the time, there is no doubt in my mind that I wouldn't be anywhere near where I am today without that knowledge of the piano. I picked up a guitar for the first time as a 9 year old in grade 4, it's safe to say I fell in love with it from that day on. To this day the guitar is my primary instrument and the catalyst for all of my knowledge of theory and stage performing acquired over those years. I always sang growing up, but only started taking it seriously in late 2021 when I got the lead role of Danny in my high schools rendition of Grease the musical. While I haven't had much vocal training, it has now become a vital part of my life as a musician and has made me a more versatile performer. I am currently performing as a solo musician in the Sunshine Coast area and create music of various genres under the name theJester. I am also studying at CQU full time with the intention of becoming a high school music teacher and producer.
